Bride Spotlight: From the First Favourite to Walking Down the Aisle

Today, we’re sharing the story of one of our gorgeous brides, who said “yes” to her dream dress with us and celebrated her wedding at the stunning Tithe Barn Bolton Abbey.

From the moment she walked through our doors, this bride’s experience was everything we hope for our Dotty girls.

Falling in Love with “The One” 

Sometimes, the one is exactly what you imagined - and sometimes, it surprises you. For this bride, it was a little bit of both. 

Before even stepping into the boutique, she had already spotted her dream dress online. 

“The dress I chose was actually the first one I saw on the online portal… it was the very first one I added to my favourites.” 

Even after visiting four other bridal boutiques and trying on countless gowns, she couldn’t shake that first feeling. 

“After returning to Dotty and trying on the first dress again, I knew without a doubt that it was the one.”

'When I first put it on, it just felt right… special, elegant, and very ‘me.’

“I didn’t think I would go for something so detailed and glittery.” 

And when she returned to try it on again? 

“It felt like I was putting it on for the first time again and made me very emotional.”

“Saying ‘yes’ to my dress felt really special and exciting… it felt like everything had fallen into place.” 

With happy tears flowing, she could finally picture herself walking down the aisle - one of the most magical parts of the entire bridal journey.

From an early 5:30am start to a late-night celebration, every moment was filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. 

“One of the most special parts was having all of our friends and family together in one place… it meant so much to us both.” 

One of the most emotional highlights? 

“Seeing my husband for the first time as I walked down the aisle… it was incredibly emotional.” 

And his reaction said it all: 

“He was teary and very emotional… which was so lovely to see.” 

A Truly Meaningful Moment 

Among all the special memories, one stood out above the rest. 

Her maid of honour - just five days after giving birth - was by her side. 

“Having her there… only five days after giving birth made me so proud. She was truly superwoman on the day.” 

A moment filled with love, strength, and unforgettable emotion.
