Our CHARITY BALL in aid of and supporting First Touch and our beautiful Amy Dutton.

What happened to Amy and her beautiful family is something we wouldn’t want anyone to experience, the support the First touch team gave to Amy and Scott over the period of time Amy was in London was incredible! And we wanted to give something back! 💕

First Touch provide funding for life-saving equipment, support for the families and care for over 600 sick and premature babies a year in the neonatal unit at St George’s Hospital.

We are so grateful for this charity and cannot thank them enough for looking after such a beautiful family, who mean so much to our Dotty family.

So we thought what better way to raise money for this incredible charity, than to organise a Charity Ball! 💃🏼

So on 19th November, we will all be coming together for this incredible event where we will try and raise as much money as possible for this amazing cause. It will be a night to remember with lots of entertainment, dancing and of course champagne!

We are so excited for this! And we hope to see as many of you there as possible to support this incredible cause, and celebrate Baby Elsie and Baby Dotty 💕

Thank you to all the incredible businesses who have contributed so far to this amazing event, especially our sponsor’s Orange Quarter,  Allure Bridals and Dysons Jewellers

Amy’s Story..

On 2nd December 2021, our beautiful Amy was rushed to St George’s hospital with severe complications with her twin pregnancy. At just 23 weeks, Amy went into labour and gave birth to Elsie & Dotty, but sadly, little Dotty was born sleeping. Elsie had to have multiple surgeries and each day was a challenge for Amy and her family. Amy spent 4 months at St George’s where she was alone Monday-Friday, beside Elsie in the neonatal unit, until her gorgeous family, Scott and Charlie could go down at the weekends. First Touch cared for Elsie and supported Amy and her family through this journey.

Elsie was eventually transferred to Barnsley hospital in March, much closer to home, which meant Amy could be with her family. She was then finally able to go home in April and is doing amazingly well.

First Touch is the official charity of St George’s neonatal unit. First Touch funds state-of-the-art equipment and specialist staff training which are outside of the scope of NHS budgets, as well as a range of initiatives to support families during their stay on the unit.

The neonatal unit St George’s Hospital cares for 600 babies each year. Many of the babies they care for have been born prematurely, with some mothers having only just reached 24 weeks of pregnancy (40 weeks is generally considered normal). Some babies require life saving surgery. We want these babies to grow up to be healthy, happy children with bright futures. Donations to the work at St George’s help to achieve this

We want to come together and raise money to support this incredible charity, so they can continue to offer other families this same support.
