Here we ask Claire all about her growing business;

Can you tell us how your journey in this business began and what inspired you to start the business?  

In 2018, I took a leap of faith, leaving behind my corporate career in estate agency management to follow my passion. I had always loved makeup, having enjoyed working on the counters during my uni days. I soon found myself drawn to the creativity and beauty of weddings, and I wanted to build something meaningful that allowed me to play a special role in such an important day in people's lives. That passion has since grown into a multi-award-winning bridal hair and makeup business, and I genuinely feel so lucky to do what I love every single day. 

 What's your favourite part of your job or business? Is there a particular moment that has stood out to you over the years?  

Every wedding is a standout moment for me. I feel truly overjoyed every time a bride chooses me  and my team to be part of her special day. Sharing in their bridal journey—from the first moodboard and preview appointment to those final touches before they walk down the aisle—is everything to me. It's such a privilege to be trusted with such an important role, and I never take that for granted. 

 How do you help brides through their wedding journey?  

I support my brides every step of the way. From the moment they enquire, I aim to make the process seamless and enjoyable. I begin with a consultation and moodboard to help visualise their dream look. We then meet for a preview appointment where we refine their style, talk through their overall bridal vision, and offer skincare and prep advice. On the wedding day, I bring a calming presence, working to a carefully planned schedule, staying until the bride is fully dressed, and ensuring every detail is perfect—including veils, hair accessories, and final touch-ups. I also have a trusted team who support me for larger bridal parties, ensuring everyone is looked after beautifully. 

 What services or packages do you offer?  

I offer luxury bridal hair and makeup services tailored to each bride's vision. This includes a preview appointment, wedding day hair and makeup, and full support in the lead-up to the wedding. We have an exciting 'new' offering launching soon Claire Alexandra Skin where we will offer a bespoke facial and skincare service for our Brides. I also offer additional services such as our VIP Stay On Service and evening restyling options. My services extend to the full bridal party, including bridesmaids, mothers of the bride/groom, junior bridesmaids, and flower girls. Everything is designed to ensure a calm, professional, and luxury experience from start to finish. 

 What's one piece of advice you'd give to brides? 

 Firstly, choose a hair and makeup artist whose work you absolutely LOVE. Your hair and makeup artist should really take the time to understand your vision and makes you feel totally at ease. Your preview appointment is a great opportunity to explore ideas, get advice, and make sure your final look feels like the best version of you. Most importantly, trust your gut—go with someone who brings calm, joy, and confidence to your wedding morning. It makes all the difference.
