On Wednesday 24th January we headed down to London to The Wedding Industry Awards, as we had been chosen as national finalists in the bridal boutique category.

Back in November we won the award for best bridal boutique in our region (Yorkshire and North East) which we were super excited about!

So now it was time to head down to the big smoke to see if we could be lucky enough to win the big one!!

The event was held at the most stunning venue The Under globe, right on the River Themes. I was joined at the awards by Dotty’s amazing management team, Anna, Issy & Claire. We dressed to impress and were super excited, and nervous about the evening to come.
Our award was one of the first awards up and we had zero expectation of winning as we were up against some of the best bridal businesses in the UK.

Drum roll please……………….. AND THE WINNER OF THE NATIONAL AWARD FOR BEST BRIDAL BOUTIQUE IS ………

DOTTY BRIDAL!!

We won! To say that we were over the moon would be an understatement. These awards are voted for by you guys our amazing brides and we cannot thank you all enough for voting for us. The voting comments have come through to us and they have absolutely blown me
away.

What started 8 years ago as a dream, soon became a reality and my whole life. It’s safe to say I am immensely proud of my entire team and what they have achieved! This award is for them and is thanks to our incredible brides for making it happen.
Our goal remains the same as it always has been and that is to inspire, empower and energise each bride who steps through our doors and to provide her with the experience of a lifetime!

It certainly was an awards night to remember! Well, there’s bits I don’t want to remember!
Mainly how sick I was the next day!!

I’m so excited to now official say, we are not just the best bridal shop in Yorkshire and the North East but also the best in the UK!!
