Monday 10th September team Dotty went on their annual trip to the Harrogate bridal show & awards. The Harrogate bridal show is the biggest buying event in the bridal calendar. A chance to see new collections and designs from the worlds leading designers. You get to see these gowns on real life models, see the dresses down the runway, update our collections and even buy from new designers.

To finish off the event with the black tie Bridal awards ceremony, the UKs leading awards in the bridal industry. This year we were up for the retailer website award!! Huge credit and thank you to the guys at Cool Hand Studios, for creating our website and bringing our vision to life.

Last year was incredible when Dotty’s won Best In Store Design!! We are still literally buzzing from winning last year and has pride of place in our boutique.

 We are so so excited to have chosen a brand new designer to come to Dotty!! We hand picked and chose dresses from the collection, using our knowledge of all our Dotty brides, we chose these dresses we know you’ll all love. We cannot wait till we can share with you who our new designer is and show all you Dotty brides to be these gorgeous new dresses!

So we didn’t come away with the award for Retailer website (BOO!) Huge congratulations to all the winners from tonight’s awards. To be in the top 6 in the UK is a huge achievement in itself. But we did have a fantastic day of buying and celebrating in Harrogate.

We still ended the night in the photo booth!

When in Harrogate! We had to start the day with a good breakfast from Betty’s tea room. It was delish!

We finalised our purchases and made our way home!
